You will not solicit other users except by placing an ad.

Content posted onto this website by you, except for private information defined in our Privacy Policy remains the property of BuyandSellAustralia.com.au.

BuyandSellAustralia.com.au is not responsible for pages cached by third parties.

You are responsible for all mistakes in your ad and making any corrections to your ads.

You are responsible for changing your ad status to "Sold" immediately upon the sale of the item advertised. Instructions on how to "Mark as Sold" for an ad can be found on the Help Page.

You are responsible for removing your ad if you no longer wish to sell your item. Instructions on how to delete an ad are on the Help Page.

We reserve the right to edit or delete content on this site for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, obscene, illegal, immoral, sexually explicit and political content and content promotional for competing websites.

We reserve the right to move your listing to another category if we feel it is not in the correct category.

More specifically, items whose sale is restricted in some way are not allowed, including Adult-only items, Alcohol, Contracts & Tickets, Credit cards, Drugs (prescription and over-the-counter), Embargoed goods and prohibited countries, Counterfeit Currency and Stamps, Event Tickets, Government IDs and Licenses, Government and Transit Documents, Human Remains, Hazardous, Restricted and Perishable Items, International Trading, Importation of Goods, 'knock offs' and counterfeit items Lottery Tickets, Mailing lists and Personal Information, Postage Meters, Pyramid, and Matrix Programs, Recalled Items, Stocks & Securities, Tobacco, Transit and Postage Related Items, Warranties, weapons (firearms, pellet guns, crossbows, knives, swords but not paintball markers nor regular bows).

Pet Listing Restriction: Due to Australian Quarantine Laws, any animal advertised for sale or adoption on BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au MUST currently reside in Australia. All Non-Australian Pet Listings will be removed immediately and you will be banned permanently from listing on BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au.

Further, you agree to NOT:

• Place multiple ads for the same item
• Knowingly place ads into the wrong category
• Post the same item in such a way as to monopolize the Latest Ads list
• Post inappropriate, offensive or illegal content
• Post copyrighted content (i.e. photos) unless you have the copyright owner's permission
• Post links in your ad to affiliate programs
• Post links in your ad to lists of other items for sale
• Post ads in an item for sale category for anything except an item for sale - no exceptions
• Post ads on this site if your usual country of residence is not AUSTRALIA.
• Post ads for goods you know to have been stolen
• Post duplicate ads. You may not advertise the same item in two different ads - one ad per item limit applies.
• Fill in the email address field with a bogus email address
• Answer untruthfully when prompted for 'Is this item new?', 'Are you a commercial seller?' and when asked to specify your location (location cannot be a website).
• Include a website domain name in the listing title or location fields.
• Send a message to a seller for any reason other than expressing genuine interest in purchasing their ad or service (no profanities, no put downs)
• Mask your IP Address. Anonymous Proxy Servers are not allowed and WILL BE validated. Failure to display your true IP address will have your listings removed from BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au and you permanently banned from selling on BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au
• Be deceptive in your location. You are not allowed to describe your location, for example, as Sydney and have your IP address coming from another location (for example overseas such as the United Kingdom). IP Addresses are verified on each and every listing. Failure to display your actual location on your Ad will result in all your listings being removed from BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au and you permanently banned from selling on BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au

Industrial Equipment Safety Warning BuyAndSellAustralia.com.au warns buyers THAT ALL PLANT OR EQUIPMENT OFFERED FOR SALE AT THIS SITE MAY NOT BE FIT FOR USE IN A WORKPLACE and it is the BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that it is brought to a state necessary to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act in your State and is safe and fit for use in the workplace. Breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act carry penalties for people who PURCHASE and OPERATE UNSAFE EQUIPMENT without conducting a thorough safety inspection. Plant MUST be given a safety inspection prior to operation when it is purchased FROM THE Seller.

We cannot ensure and do not guarantee that a Buyer or Seller or Browser of our site will actually complete a transaction or act lawfully in using our site.

Postings by persons under 18 is not allowed; Any person Under 18 must have their Parent or Guardian post the content on their behalf and the Parent or Guardian must act as the primary contact.
